Get Discovered and Get Referrals

It is crucial that you get the word out about your newly discovered money making opportunity if you want to develop residual income. Although word of mouth is the best type of referral, you still need to give your prospective referrals the link to access the GPT site as your referral. Printing business cards with your referral link is a great way to get the word out, and so is making flyers and posting them around your town. The drawback is that your prospect may mistype the web address and get to the site without using your specific referral link.

This can be avoided by creating a personal web presence. The easiest way to do this is to utilize free blog sites. Sites like blogger and squidoo are popular because setup is easy and getting published only takes minutes. Sure you will have to come up with your own content, but you can post as much or as little as you want. The important thing is that you will have a place to put a link that will eliminate the need for your prospect to type in the correct referral address.

Another advantage of creating a blog is that you can put multiple GPT site links in your blog, add and remove sites as needed, and provide details about each site. Needless to say, changing business cards and flyers each time you add or remove a site would be time consuming and expensive. This way you can use your business cards and flyers to direct people to read your blog(s). That approach is much more appealing to your prospect and it will drive traffic to your blog.

Your blog subject can be anything that interests you. It does not have to be directly related to GPT, but you still can put your GPT links throughout. So if you are already a blogger, all you have to do is sign up at a GPT, get your referral link, and imbed the link in your blog with an invitation.

Get discovered and get referrals. Create your personal web presence with a free blog, put your GPT referral links in, and point your prospects to it. Happy prospecting!
